Each of these Cheddar cheeses is handcrafted at their dairy located in the scenic landscapes of Dorset countryside. The key ingredient, high-quality full-fat milk, is sourced from local herds that enjoy grazing on the fertile grounds of the Ashley Chase Estate and nearby lands. Once the cheese is pressed and bandaged, the truckles are stored for several months until they are perfectly mature and ready to offer their full, rich flavour.
Ford Farm’s partnership with a local smokehouse brings out the best in our smoked varieties – Oakwood and Dorset Red. The artisan smokehouse meticulously matures our cheeses with love and attention to detail, ensuring they are infused with just the right amount of smoky flavour for a deliciously more-ish experience.
